Meet the team
Chloe Parfitt
Communications Coordinator
Chloe Parfitt is a marketing and communications professional with over nine years’ experience across brand promotion, events, and stakeholder engagement, and four years specialising in digital campaigns, content strategy, and copywriting. She joins Social Impact Studio as Communications Coordinator, bringing strong capability in campaign coordination, operational delivery, and insight-led communications.
Previously, Chloe worked as Marketing and External Engagement Manager for Bond University’s Faculty of Society & Design, where she led faculty-wide communications strategy, managed digital assets for 60+ programs, and increased sponsorship by 50% over two years. She is passionate about purpose-driven work across sustainability, gender equality, and community development. Originally from Canberra, Chloe spent several years in Melbourne before settling in the Sunshine State in 2017.

Katrina Swanston
Managing Director
Katrina Swanston is the founder of Social Impact Studio, a consultancy helping purpose-driven teams communicate with clarity and impact. The studio leads communications on a diverse portfolio of projects that advance clean energy, inclusive livelihoods and gender equality across the Pacific and beyond. This includes Australian Government initiatives as well as work with a leading international development organisation to amplify stories of resilience and innovation worldwide.
With more than 20 years’ international experience in strategy, communications, stakeholder engagement, innovation, fundraising, and organisational change, Katrina has led teams in startups, charities, hospitals, government and FTSE100, ASX and Big Four organisations across the United Kingdom, South America, the Middle East and Australia. Before establishing Social Impact Studio in 2023, she held senior roles in Victoria’s public sector and national not-for-profits.
She sits on the board of Outer Space, a gallery that nurtures emerging artists in Queensland, and is on the Brisbane committee for UN Women Australia. Katrina holds a Bachelor of Arts (Journalism and English Literature) from the University of Queensland, a Graduate Diploma in Psychology at UNSW and a Global Executive MBA from Monash Business School. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in the United Kingdom.
